Ingredients:

3 cups wheat flour [00:03]

Red chili powder [00:04]

Salt [00:06]

Homemade Desi Ghee [00:09]

Water [00:12]

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:

Add water to the wheat flour and knead it to form a soft dough [00:12].

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 15 minutes [00:20].

Roll the First Layer:

Take a large ball of dough and dust it with dry flour [00:28].

Roll it out thinly using a rolling pin [00:39].

Add Spices and Ghee:

Sprinkle red chili powder evenly over the rolled dough [00:46].

Sprinkle salt over the dough [00:55].

Spread homemade Desi Ghee thoroughly over the spiced dough [01:03].

Fold and Roll for Layers:

Start folding the paratha in an overlapping way to create layers [01:21].

Once folded, roll it into a spiral shape [01:33].

Roll the Final Paratha:

Add a little dry flour to the spiral dough [01:44].

Roll it out again thinly to form the final paratha shape [01:51].

Cook the Paratha:

Place the paratha on a hot griddle [02:01].

Apply Desi Ghee on both sides of the paratha [02:08].

Cook until it turns light brown and is cooked through [02:20].

The finished Masala Lachha Paratha is then served with a side of yogurt, garnished with red chili
