The recipe for Methi Parantha:
Ingredients:
2 bunches of green Methi [00:08]
3 cups of all-purpose flour [00:11]
1 teaspoon of garam masala [00:33]
1 teaspoon of red chili powder [00:35]
2 teaspoons of salt [00:38]
2 tablespoons of oil [00:15]
Water to make the dough [00:18]
Oil for cooking [01:35]
Instructions:
Wash and finely chop the methi leaves [00:22].
In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and the chopped methi leaves [00:29].
Add the garam masala, red chili powder, salt, and 2 tablespoons of oil to the mixture [00:32].
Mix all the ingredients together with your hands, then add water to form a soft dough [00:44].
Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes [00:57].
Take a small ball of dough and, using dry flour, roll it out into a thin circle [01:06].
Place the rolled parantha on a hot griddle [01:32].
Add oil to both sides of the parantha and cook until it is crispy and golden brown [01:36].
Serve the hot Methi Parantha with butter or yogurt [01:57].
